Questions:

  1. How do I vote?  What do the numbers mean?
  2. Can I vote more than once for the same photo?
  3. I want to upload a photo.  How do I do this.
  4. I can't vote! I click the button, but it doesn't do anything.
  5. My photo was rejected, why?
  6. How do I register?
  7. Do I have to supply my email address when registering?
  8. How do I see what my photo's score is?
  9. How do I log in?

 

Answers:

  1. The link to the vote page is on every page and on the front page.  The image below shows the front page and the links to the vote page.

    This is the vote bar.  Simply click the button you want to rate the photo as.

    10 is highest, 1 is lowest.

  2. No, you can vote only once per photo, per day.  This means today you can vote for as many photos as you would like to, then if you want to vote for those same photos again, you will not be able to until tomorrow.  You may see the same photos again after you already voted for them, if you are viewing the random page.  Just click any vote button on these photos to skip to the next photo.

  3. First, make sure you register with us to be sure your photo is associated with your account so you have your name attached to the photo, you can track how your photo is doing, etc.
    There are two ways to get to the upload page. 
    From any page:

    To upload a file:

    1.  Check guidelines for uploading photos.    Click "Browse..." to select the photo to upload.
    2. Type a comment about the photo. (optional)
    3. Click "Continue" to upload.
    If there were any errors on uploading or the photo does not meet the requirements, a message will appear on the page after attempting to upload.
    If your upload was successful, we will review your photo within 24 hours.

  4. If you are unable to vote for a photo, chances are you have JavaScript disabled.  This site requires JavaScript in order to operate certain parts of the site, such as voting, and image previews in the member's area.  Some users have JavaScript disabled for security reasons.  Our site is completely safe and will not harm or record any of your information or computer use.  If you want to enable JavaScript, please see online documentation.
